“We must use our lives to make the world a better place to live, not just to acquire things. That is what we are put on the earth for.” is my favorite quote because this quote shows that we have purpose in life not just to buy things and get it but to make life better. make life a better place. it shows even if you own everything in the world, you can still find something to do to make the world better.

My favorite quote from the article is "Real change, enduring change, happens one step at a time." I really like this quote because it tells that we shouldn't have to rush in order to change, and coming from Ruth Bader Ginsburg, a person who exceeded expectations, and changed many ideas about women, gives reassurance that this quote is true. In addition, I also see this quote as we should be able to pace ourselves which can impact me because I need to pace myself, as I am going to be in high school in September.

My favorite quote from the article is“Technique and ability alone do not get you to the top; it is the willpower that is the most important.” It is my favorite because it is inspiring in a way thats makes you want to keep going and complete that goal and it pushes you to take what comes your way. It gives you the might to do what you want to such as getting ready for high school in september and by trying really hard in school right now,

My favorite quote from the article is probably by Junko Tabei, "Technique and ability alone do not get you to the top; it is the willpower that is the most important." And I think that is important because a lot of people go into things that they aren't willing to give everything they have because they are lazy, etc. But her quote shows that you have to give everything you have.

My favorite quote from this article is "I raise up my voice—not so that I can shout but so that those without a voice can be heard. . . . We cannot all succeed when half of us are held back," by Malala Yousafzai because of the message behind it. She says that she stands up for others whose voices can't be heard because to make a change requires everyone to be heard. I think this is especially important because of how she is an activist for girls' educations.

I become the buffalo.” i really like this quote by Wilma Mankiller because it shows that you cant run away from your problems or you will never solve them but you should run at it and get it over with and not letting it pile up so you have to face the challenges in life.

i picked "I raise up my voice—not so that I can shout but so that those without a voice can be heard. . . . My favorite quote is "Real change, enduring change, happens one step at a time." because I think it expresses something that many people miss. I completely agree with Ginsburg, and I feel like some fail the realize that progress doesn't just spontaneously occur. it takes time for society to warm up to progressive ideas and maybe even more time to make those changes happen. Many events lead up to any kind of change and those events don't happen one right after the other, they take many small steps.

In my opinion, this quote highlights the value of patience when trying to conquer a difficult, broad problem. Although it may take time, a solution with a strong foundation will endure compared to a solution with a hastily built one. It may be frustrating to not see a tangible solution in the present moment, but with willpower and utmost restraint, something much greater than expected can come to fruition. My favorite quote is “I raise up my voice—not so that I can shout but so that those without a voice can be heard. . . . We cannot all succeed when half of us are held back.” because I see it as a way to help people speak up more. She talks about how many people are being held back and that she raises her voice to speak for others as well which is something I like.

My favorite quote is “I have learned over the years that when one’s mind is made up, this diminishes fear; knowing what must be done does away with fear.” This is because it tells us that when we do something as long as we have the will power it can happen and we'll do it with no fears.

my favorite quote from the article is “Technique and ability alone do not get you to the top; it is the willpower that is the most important.” It is because i think it means that even as a highly skilled/talented person, if you don't work hard/refine your skills each day, you'll never be the #1 person. Even if you were more blessed than others, ordinary people who have stronger willpower will eventually overtake you because they will work even harder

My favorite quote from the article is
“Cows run away from the storm while the buffalo charges toward it—and gets through it quicker. Whenever I’m confronted with a tough challenge . . . I become the buffalo.”
I like this quote because it tells you to take charge, and to face your problems, in order to get through it quicker, as avoiding your problems only makes it worse. (the storm will still catch you)

I really like “Technique and ability alone do not get you to the top; it is the willpower that is the most important.” because nothing will get done without the willpower. Sure if you have the techniques and abilities it raises your chance to get to the top, but if you don’t do anything with the power, where will it get you?

My favorite quote from "Listen up" is "Technique and ability alone do not get you to the top; it is the willpower that is the most important." by Junko Tabei. I really like this strong quote because many people, including me, can relate. Without willpower, achieving goals with technique and ability are impossible; you can have the best technique in a sport, but you can never accomplish anything without willpower.
