This election may be the most important election since President Lincoln in 1860. Everyone who is eligible to vote and at least 18 years old must. However, even those who are younger 13 or 14 years old can still practice their civic duty by reminding the adults in their lives to vote.

The election is very important during this time because everyone is struggling due to covid. So if we elect a good president it could make our country a bit brighter. But it depends it could be good or bad we could elect a president that could ruin our time in 2020 or turn the tables and make it better.

I think that it is right for people not able to vote yet to get a understanding and if they know anyone that didn't vote they should tell them immediately because the elections are important because they choose who gets to make life changing decisions.

Who in their right mind is going to believe a child over something like a presidential election? It's like telling your parents in the 70's to invest in the stock market in (insert company name here) because (x reason). It's pretty laughable, but if it actually works, and you're successful, then all power to you.

My concerns about the election this year is if everything will go smoothly. First, many people aren't happy with what Donald Trump has done for our country so if he becomes president maybe riots will break out and etc. However if there are any other presidential candidates who win, there may be a change in what's happening or the outlook of the pandemic or other issues.

Kids can be immature. They also make many more irrational decisions than adults. Further, humans from ages 5-17 are in a critical development stage and are easily influenced and taken advantage of (I would know, I've been manipulated many times before). I won't deny your claim that children should vote, but I'm saying that it would be dangerous and there would still be people left out. You can't please everybody.

I feel like even though citizens are allowed to vote when they are 18 or up, I feel like they probably still get pressured and vote someone they probably wouldn't vote for until a friend told them to. I think they should increase the age of being able to vote, to like 21.

By that logic, shouldn't we increase the minimum age to join the army? I mean, they are risking their lives for the country they live in, and even with all the benefits, the mortality rate is fairly high considering that these are pretty much still kids. Even at the age of 21, you're still getting influenced.

This election can be the most important, but making a decision of who to pick for president is not easy. During their debates, there was lots of interrupting and sort of a toxic environment /language that their points weren't getting from point A to point B as directly as they could. One question that I have about the election is that why does the electoral college exist? The popular vote does not really matter in a certain case. This is what I mean. The electoral college determines the president by casting their votes like any other regular person. BUT, the people in the college also has their own opinions. They can have the same, or different opinion from the majority vote. As an illustration, if the popular vote goes to trump, but the electoral college votes chooses Biden, Biden will be president, if they votes chooses Trump, Trump will be president and etc.

I'm going to say this right now. I don't want to burst anybody's bubble of security. But, I will say this. No person is the embodiment of justice. Everyone has an ulterior motive, something they don't tell you. Politicians can be incredibly corrupt, and even if they claim great things, there's a high chance they won't deliver on their promises (see current president at the time, Donald Trump). Therefore, what you said would exist in a perfect world, a 1 in a infinite amount of worlds. You can pretend all you like. You can dance around the issue. But you can't deny that what I said is true. Because it is.

My concerns for the election is that firstly, people will not vote it is important to vote so we don't have Trump as president. My second concern is having trump not only is he a racist, homophobic, he condones white supremacy, and he is the reason that thousands of people are dying and millions are infected. My third concern is that Joe Biden will lose swing states because those are most times the decider of the election so we need the swings so Biden can win the Election. Lastly, i'm concerned because Trump is a flat out liar he makes accusations with no evidence and he promises things he can't even follow through with.

Here's the problem with allowing children to speak their minds. Kids are notoriously easy to sway. With a good enough proposition (i.e. new video games, $100.00 in credit card, etc.) any kid would graciously follow up on that deal in spades. Also, kids are still optimistic and think that the world is perfect, and that nobody can lie. So, any competent Politician that knows how to sway adults that are more intelligent, then kids would be much easier to abuse.

The candidates for the new president based on the opinions I have seen so far, do not seem to be liked that much based on what I hear (Which is not that much). Trump has obviously did some horrible things in his presidency and based on what I hear about Biden (Which is not that much), he seems to not be that likeable like Trump. So, my concerns about the next president is that hopefully, the will do great in their years of presidency and my thought is that people will probably be voting against what they think is worse instead of voting for who they think is better.

I think that no one will be elected because no one will give, and for a long time Nancy Pelosi will be a stand-in president, which is not necessarily a bad thing with all things considered. But, having no official president might mess America up a lot as we are always used to having a decent leader (or at least were used to it until 2016). Also, if Biden does win the election (which he hopefully will), the tension will only grow in the period of time from November 3rd to January, when Biden is officially inaugurated, because people will probably become so desperate to see a person with actual leadership skills that things could go downhill really quickly.

But I don't such want to hear them say it, I want to hear their plan like what will they do if a second wave occurs. I see the comments about not being 18 years or older about and how its unfair. I feel that it is fair because 18 year olds are adults and a lot is on the line and people can't be making silly choices. I think that this election will be one of the most important elections in history. This is because whoever becomes president has an extreme amount of responsibility on their hands. The president will have to increase the amount of money the economic system has as well as increasing the amount of work there is because of the amount of jobs and money lost during covid. The president must also focus on making the United States citizens safe from covid and preventing any inequailty that still remains today.

This election could be a major turning in how the government is going to handle the coronavirus since if Biden is re-elected then he'll probably enforce and try to clean up the anti-coronavirus effort but if Trump is re-elected who knows how he might try to deal with the coronavirus. A big part of this might be the electoral college who might have their own political interests. Either way there will be a huge amount of weight on whoever's going to be president so in reality these people should be more careful about what they say.

I think this election would be a rather more intense election. The reason why I would say this is because the friction and relationship between the two candidates running for president do not have a good relationship with each other, with very different perspectives through leadership. Thus I think the next leader would have big responsibilities.

This year's election of 2020 will for sure be important in our nation's history. Whoever is elected for this year's presidential election will determine whether the future circumstances will positively impact the country, or whether they will negatively impact the country. We need to elect a president who is capable of leading the country right, who understands the importance of following the laws and the principles set for us in the constitution, and someone who knows what hardship is based from personal experience: someone who is empathetic, who can relate to everyone's immense stresses and difficult struggles.

This can go terribly wrong or good. The next president is definitely going to have a lot of work and responsibilities, for example, covid-19, the economy, and depending on whoever wins, minorities, people of color, LGBTQ+ people's rights could be in danger. Moreover, I feel the rule that people of ages 18+ is not very fair especially this year because the older generations and the younger generations have very, very different beliefs and opinions. But more of the older generations can vote than the younger. So I'm sure that some people feel as if their voice is invalid or doesn't matter.

This year's election would be very important due to the fact of how our next president would affect our country with his decisions. My concern is that if Trump becomes the president again, he might not care about the increasing amount of covid cases which were cause because of how he didn't handle it well in the beginning and not really caring about it. We would basically all die. Since also how Trump went to greet his supporters even though he got tested positive. It shows how he didn't really care about him being tested positive and may spread to others. If Biden becomes president he would at least take care about the population of infections and decrease the amount of deaths. He would care about the lives of Americans.

I believe that this election is going to be extremely important for the US due to the fact that all the events that have happened in the United States in 2020 are extremely serious for the well beings of many people. The person that gets elected as president has to bear the responsibility of restoring the country to a good state, which means the people of this country must select a GOOD person to do that job. That brings me to think that, contrary to what many people believe, only people over the age of 18 should be allowed to vote because, the people under 18 usually have their own political opinion that is based off social media and not everything they see on social media is true but they choose to believe otherwise which may lead them to believing the wrong things. In addition, many people have their parents force their political beliefs on them. This doesn't allow those people to form their own opinions and think for themselves which is why I believe people over the age of 18 should be allowed to vote.

To start off, I think that Biden should win this years election because with Trump being the president for four years he hasn't done much but start trouble. During this global pandemic he has been careless about COVID and hasn't been working hard to help out anybody during these harsh times. On the other hand, I don't completely agree with what Biden had done or said in the past but I still believe that he would be a way better president than Trump because from what I've seen in the debate Biden seems to be someone who knows how to deal with certain situations properly and smartly. This year's election is important because of Covid 19. The handling of COVID questions authority and leadership of whether you can lead the U.S. through a crisis.

I honestly just think the election we had 4 years ago wasn't really that great. Not to offend anyone but neither of the candidates were good so it was a pretty close call. Trump ended up winning more state votes. I don't like this year's election either. Biden does have good points but I just feel like he's getting all the support because everyone just hates Trump and I have a bad feeling about this....

To begin with, I'm concerned about this years election because whoever wins would be responsible for our country. People aren't happy with how Donald Trump is dealing with Covid-19 and if he gets re-elected there might be riots about it. Personally, I don't pay attention to the news but whoever wins would have to have good leadership and help U.S get through and deal with Covid-19.

It depends on what are the presidents willing to do, and the relationship between the US citizens. For example Donald Trump did not do an Ideal job to deal with the crisis on this year. I won't go much further in depth but he's a bully, he blames China entirely for the Covid which is not true but apparently he claims that. But me personally I don't have too much trust on Joe Biden, and his claims are. Honestly since we have so much problems in this year My Concern is who should we depend on.

Personally I am not a fan of both candidates. Due to current situations like Covid-19 the candidates will most likely obtain votes depending on how they will deal with the pandemic. So far Donald Trump hasn't been handling the problem very well.

I think people should vote for a better president that they think that president can make a good impact for the future America and someone who can fix and deal with the COVID-19. Furthermore I'm not a fan of any presidents and I just hope that the few years it will be better then 2020.

Since this election is one of the most important elections in history, due to civilians suffering due to Covid-19 many people lost their jobs, have no money to support their family, and to stay inside to prevent spreading the virus. This election may or may not help the problem that everybody is having right now. If we get a president that can help this situation that’s happening, maybe we will stop the spreading of the virus not just in United States, but maybe the entire world.

I pay less attention to the presidential election, so I know less about it, but I care more about what happens after the presidential election.
