I think one solution to resolving the attacks on Asian Americans and all ethnic/racial groups is---- education. In my opinion, history will always teach us about the good/bad of a country.

Mr. G., I think your idea is a great one. Students, I think you should listen to your teacher! Learning history is both informative, but also supportive. We learn from history so we are aware of when trends may be starting. Some good trends we want to continue - like things that will help people get jobs and have a good living. Other events in history are also a warning - like attacks and discrimination toward Asian Americans. We know that racism and violence toward people of color has occurred in our history, so we need to learn from history so we can stop this as soon as possible. Learning from history can also be supportive. These incidences toward Asian Americans are scary, but it can be comforting to know that when this kind of incident has occurred in our nation's history, people stand up and support each other. That's what the protests are about so we can draw strength and comfort from this action.

A solution I have is making it so the punishment for attacking ethnic groups is very harsh. I believe this will help decrease the amount of attacks because as of now, people who attack ethnic groups don't get the proper punishment they deserve which causes other people to do the same things because they don't have to face the consequences.

Force. A powerful person with a lot of influence (like a celebrity) going "Hey can you all stop? This isn't cool you know." But seriously, the issue is misinformation, and that can be solved if people are willing to look back and change for the better (but for those with big egos, that is a big "if")

One solution to prevent attacks against Asian Americans and all groups in America is to be well educated. If someone is well educated against misinformation or harmful propaganda then they will think twice before saying or doing something. With this the attacks can lessen because they will know that it is wrong and feel the need to speak out about it.

Solutions to prevent attacks on not only Asian Americans, but any race is an eye for an eye, if you kill someone, you get killed too, if you shot a man, he gets to shoot you back, of course this is quite cruel, but thats the point, so they won't attack people

Whilst it is simple verity that there is no practicable action that may unequivocally terminate all racial hate towards Asians; as is with any other social problem in the world, there are indeed methods to minimize such behavior. One such thing, is continuously teaching the young as to the very reason why racism is so flagrant and harrowing. Young minds must be taught this, in an age where they are unknowledgeable, and could grow to be unstable if left untaught. A foundation to the acts of wrong must be firmly put in place.

One way to prevent attacks against Asian Americans an all other groups in America is to educate them. By having them learn the pros and cons of attacking someone. People who attack should have a severe punishment and put something on their record that bans them from doing/going certain things/places. This way they would be more cautious of their actions and also have a scare.

Most elders have been hiding their faces with sunglasses, masks, and a large sweater or hoodie to protect themselves. I think that the only thing people can do as if right now is to educate and protect. Although it might be tricky to change a racist mindset, educating them on why Asians are not the cause of covid is important. And to the people who think that these attacks are being blown out of proportion, call them out on their ignorant behavior. ( like I get that the media sometimes makes things bigger than they are but these are literal hate crimes, you can look out the window and see them being committed.) Protect family members and yourselves.

In my opinion, there isn't a lot of things you can do to change and prevents these things because this only happens because people have a certain mindset and they are influence by someone in some way. For example, our ex-president Donald Trump, since he had a racism veiw against Chinese people who are very smart start to believe such things. So I think the best you can do is try to step out and help people getting attacked instead of watching as they get hurt or even killed. People can also try to explain that it is wrong or some big names or people with a big influence can say something about it.

These hate crimes are awful to hear about and need attention by our media circuits. The idea of peaceful protest is a start in letting others know that hate will not be tolerated by any culture. Increasing police presence. helping those who experience it, and hoping that our communities can come together and learn how to live peacefully is so important. Hurting innocent individuals based on the way they look can never be tolerated.

I think there should be a way to spread word (such as advertising) about the pain and hardships of a person who is insulted/attacked because of their ethnicity. A lot of humans are selfish, making them have a one-sided view. In order to fix that, there should be a way to spread word and teach them.

I think it's extremely essential and crucial to completely end racism and hatred against not only Asians but other minorities and ethnicities. Solutions that I believe will effectively lessen the amount of racism currently going on in this world would be to properly educate people about historical circumstances that are similar to what is currently going on in this world during this particular time. To create posters that will convince people that racism inflicts a lot of pain on others and thus it needs to end. All people are created equally no matter their race, ethnicities, cultural/spiritual beliefs, or identities. This is why people should speak out against racism and do as much as they possibly can to prevent these horrific attacks against Asian Americans.

Education, sharing accessible info (info people can understand), and managing social issues that support hate/acts of violence are some solutions that I think of. Yes, I agree! Some people are being constantly brainwashed based on the propaganda that they read about through social media and other unreliable sources of information. I think there should be more sources of information that contain true and factual details regarding the attacks on Asian Americans and why it needs to be stopped. Therefore, I think that propaganda should be completely abolished because it's making people believe information that is not even true. (I honestly doubt if propaganda will ever entirely go away because it's an ongoing problem throughout history).

I believe the best solution is to punish and educate. By punish, I mean punish the people who have killed or severely wounded asian people and make it clear of the consequences of what will happen if someone were to do it too. People these days don't even take second thoughts to attack an asian person in broad daylight. That's because they know they can get away with it. The fact that some news and articles are watering these situations down to defend the offenders is sickening. Moreover, educate by trying to educate those racist mindsets to make sure there's at least one more person who can understand, sympathize, and hear us out.
