Students, what an amazing presidential election we witnessed. We were all on the edge of our seats, hoping the candidate we chose would win. Personally, the waiting for four days was an emotional roller-coaster, and I am happy it's over. Nonetheless, the election of 2020 will no doubt be written in our history books for so many reasons. First, we had the largest voter turn-out in our nation's history, while we are still in the middle of a global pandemic. Next, Kamala Harris is the first woman to elected Vice-President of the United States of America. And, she is the first African American and Asian American ever to be elected to the Executive Branch. Finally, President-elect Joe Biden received the most votes by any elected President. And he is only the second Catholic President to be elected, the other was John F. Kennedy.

i am very satisfied with the new president elect because our current president treated our country like a social event, using important religious trademarks for photo-opps. He was also given the chance before all of the commotion and spread of the Covid-19 and chose to ignore it and then once the commotion came with the spread he claimed it was a lie and that it didn't exist so we must now look to our new leadership to solve all the problems we now face.

I am pretty happy about the results of the 2020 election because we don't have to suffer through the same president as last year, Donald Trump. In addition, Joe Biden was the former vice president for many years so he might get the gist of what to do for the country more than Donald Trump who was formerly a businessman.

The election was very tight and was very close until Biden had a big league. I didn't really care who was really president and I didn't like either president at all. My dad was happy that he won but my mom as well didn't really pick a side because she thought they weren't that good. But to have the vice president be female is making history.

I was ecstatic about the results from the presidential election! I know the election carried on for days, which was fairly nerve-wracking for everyone. I truly believe that Joe Biden will do a far better job at handling this virus than Trump ever did. After watching debates and watching his speeches, I am convinced that he will do a much better job for this country.

I am happy that Joe Biden won however the fact that it was a close race was scary to me. Since it was such a tight race, and everyone had different opinions, it means that a lot of people are divided. On the other hand, I hope Joe Biden does make better choices to make our country better.

I am glad that Joe Biden won because he plans to tackle the Coronavirus that has already destroyed many lives and families. If Trump won, then his plan to save the economy may backfire due to Covid still being around. And I find it childish that Trump is not accepting defeat because others gave him a chance and look at where we are today.

I agree! I think Trump should just accept that he lost the election and move on. That's the mature way to handle the situation after the aftermath of the election. We gave him a chance to benefit the country and "make America great again." After 4 years, what did he do? Nothing. All he did was spread racial injustice among different minorities, enforce racial division instead of unity, and he made absolutely no effort in monitoring this virus. A true president would have brainstormed a plan right away to defeat this virus and take action in making it work instead of just saying that it will "magically" go away and not do anything about it.

I didn't really have an opinion on who I thought was better. I like to think that I'm still a kid and shouldn't have to worry about politics and elections yet. As long as life can stay peaceful and the country isn't ruined I don't think who the president is should matter to me yet.

I'm happy that Joe won the presidential election because I believe he will be a better president than Trump. I believe he can take on the coronavirus better than trump, and restore normal life as soon as possible even if it takes him more than 1 term. This was a close race but it came to a end with most happy, some not. But at least we have a better president for the U.S, or at least, A PRESIDENT.

The last few days were a long wait, and I was checking every hour to see if the votes have gone up. When the votes for Joe Biden finally passed 270, I was really happy and so did my neighbors, they were all cheering when I woke up that day. I think that changing a president can either make it better for the country, or worse. So I hope that our new President Biden will make wise decisions and have a good strategy to help the US through this pandemic. I hope that he also will bring words to solve the many other problems that has occurred during the year.

Based on the election alone you can tell the difference between the candidates. One is confident and the other is just childish. For the past few days, there has been many protest about the ballot count system. Making people gather to disturb workers that are counting during a pandemic is quite "smart" of the formal president to do. Anyways I'm glad the election is over and I hope Biden can help rebuild America back to normal.

Regarding the presidential election, I personally feel that both nominees were equally as bad, though Trump is worse. I really hope that Biden will be the president the United States needs right now, we’ll just have to wait and see how it plays out. I do hope that Biden makes the right choices considering all the things going on in the country right now like Covid-19 and discrimination against certain groups of people. I am very proud that Biden has become our 46th president of the USA. It means a lot will change in these 4 years and hopefully BLM and LGBTQ+ will get the rights and freedom they deserve. I am also overjoyed that Kamala Harris is our vice president since she is not only a person of color, but she is also a woman. I personally don't agree what Biden says entirely but I really think he has a lot potential into him to reverse what Trump did, and actually care to help with Covid 19, and maybe don't be selfish about America only, and perhaps unite with other countries. Kamala Harris being the first female, Asian, and African vice presidents represents How America is trying to reinforce itself, Like a true Union does.

I don't care about the election but my thoughts on it is that I think Biden deserved to win. My reasons are Trump is really racist to Chinese. Trump called Covid 19 the Chinese Virus and said Chinese people are the reason for the cause. He blamed China so much he only blocked transport to CHINA ONLY not the other countries that could had the virus not knowing the virus could transport to other countries. Another reason is that Trump defense to win the election is "Biden likes China and the Chinese don't vote him Chinese are the cause of the virus. Vote trump now". This is the worst defense in a presidential debate and he was the cause for the virus spreading not china.

I am so relieved and happy that Joe Biden won the election. My family was relieved. Trump has been the worst president ever. Even though Biden wasn't the best candidate but he wast the best option Biden can progress America into a new America. While Trump would juts make america worse. I wasn't really worried about trumps accusations because he had no evidence and he is just saying false claims even big news stations left his speech ad went back to regular tv because he made so many false claims. It was like a whole sigh releif that Biden won and I am so happy he did.

I am very relieved that Biden won. Right now we don't need a hard hitting influential leader, we need safe and calm one the guide us through the pandemic and such. However, even if we are satisfied with the winner of the election, we still have to hold Biden accountable for anything he does in he future. Although, the first ever female person of color vice president was elected, which is a great stepping stone to adding female representation in the white house. Kamala Harris might be the first women, but she definitely won't be the last.

I think that the election results will continued to be argued about because the election was close. I think this election will be argued about, not because people opinions(even though people will still argue about their positions) but because of the idea of fake votes. Some people argue that there were fake votes because all the swing states suddenly turned blue or dead people voting.
