I'm still surprised that I got into both of my first choices for my high school and specialized high school, because they were top high schools. I knew that many people from all over NYC applied to them, so my chances weren't as high as I wanted them to be, but I still got in!

I got into my first choice LAB🐊. Where my brother went, I wasn’t surprised when I got in because I met all the criteria.

I was very surprised when I learned that we would be getting our High School results yesterday because I thought they were going to come out today! I hope that everyone is happy with their results and I know that wherever you guys got accepted you will do great! This news also made me realize how soon we will be going to high school and leaving MAT. I am going to miss this school and the friends I've made throughout the years SOOO much!

I got into my second choice, and I'm on the wait list for my first choice. I'm happy but I was really hoping that I would get an offer for my first choice.

I honestly didn’t think I would get into my first choice, but I did! I was sooo happy and was shaking a little bit. I also wasn’t prepared that it was gonna come out yesterday because they said it would come out on March,20 (on Friday) I also know some of my friends got into high school as well. Super excited for next year!!

When I heard the news i was excited because it was a school I was looking to go to and heard great things about it from my sister, who graduated 2 years earlier. My family was proud because I worked so hard and my work payed off. I will miss all my classmates not attending school with me next year but will defiantly* stay in touch.

I was very surprised when I found out which high schools accepted me because I knew that a lot of kids apply to the high school I wanted to go to. So I knew that getting in is very hard but I was very happy and excited when I found out I got in. At the same time, I'm feeling a bit sad because we would graduate soon and leave this school and leave some of our friends.

I'm glad i was accepted into a school which was my fourth choice but i was really hoping for my first or third choice for high school. But congratulation to everyone who got into their dream school

I got into my second choice, and I'm on the waiting list for my first. I'm a bit sad that I didn't get into my first choices, but at least most of my friends got into the same school as me.

So, before I had got my results for public schools, I was pretty certain I was going to go to Xavier. But, since I got into Millennium, which is the school I did not want to got to, it just made my decision a whole lot easier. Xavier it is!

I'm very relieved and happy that I got into my 2 top choices. I was shocked to see the results came out yesterday, but happy with the results. I will miss MAT, but I am just about ready to move on.

So glad the wait was over. Even though everyone was nervous for the results I was glad the wait was over and that I know what highschool am going to.

I am very happy with my school. It was my first choice and I was really nervous at first but I think that we all will do great in high school.

I had sad news and good news but thats okay. I didn't do the best in my specialized but I did get into my top choice so thats okay. I can always retake the SHSAT next year and hopefully make a step closer into getting into a specialized school. It will definitely be a lot harder. I know it won't hurt to try again so I'm willing to try again this year in the fall. The moment you get your results, thats when you realize how close everyone is to leaving 8th grade. It's a new chapter in life and you have to move on. Hopefully you can store these memories like the movie Inside Out. Perhaps we will never talk to any of our classmates again, perhaps we won't see them but its nice knowing you once had a friend like them. I think I'm mainly scared by the fact that I won't be talking to a lot of these people ever again.

I feel good about getting into my second choice school. I’m glad this is all over as I was feeling really nervous throughout the process. However, it’s a bit unfortunate that I don’t go to the same schools as my friends. Besides that I except the school I am entering for the following four years.

First of all, I thought that the result will come out on Friday, but it turned out to come a day earlier. When I found out my results, I was really delighted because I got into both of my top choice schools. I am really happy because I really like both schools and I'm excited.

I got into my 1st choice school. However, I had to pick between my 1st choice and the Specialized High School I got into. In the end, I decided to go to the Specialized High School I got into.

i am extremely happy with the school i got into as my friends are going there and bc I got into my second choice school. in addition, I am so happy that all this high school stuff is over so I can stop stressing.

I unfortunately didn't get into my first second and third choice, which were all schools I was very set on. I got excepted into my 4th choice, which I was originally very upset about. After taking time to finally except it everything got a bit better and I constantly was reminding myself that the waitlist comes out Monday. After looking at the schools offered courses, clubs, and athletics I was feeling better. I was a bit surprised that results came out yesterday rather than today. But overall, I'm just looking forward to the waitlist. Congrats to everyone!

I am extremely happy because I got into my top choices! I think all the practicing I did and classes I attended paid off, and I'm glad I don't need to stress out until I start applying to colleges. Unfortunately, I can only choose one school to go to, so I'm going to need to make lots of lists. It's going to be a very tough decision for me.

I am very happy! I got both my top choices and can't wait to start high school. (not that I'm excited to get out of this one) I hadn't realized how tense I was until all of it was washed away yesterday!

I’m happy that i got into my first choice but i’m sad at the same time because high school is a huge chapter in everyone’s life and I really enjoy middle school. (especially in MAT) I’m scared to go to high school because i’ll be new to everything and will have to manage my time and how I use it due to the work we’re gonna receive. Overall, I have mixed feelings about going to high school.

I'm happy that i got into my second choice (millenium) because i feel like it's the right fit for me, and i'm also going with 2 good friends of mine. i'm happy to leave MAT because i want a fresh start.

I am very happy that I got into my first choice. I won't be alone going there because a few of my other friends got in there too. We've been waiting so long for high school results and I am glad that they are finally here.

Sadly I was quite devastated at first to get into my third choice but later I started to become a little more open to the idea. But prior I got into an international school in Korea which I will be attending which made me happy but sad. I will miss everyone and MAT since I'll be moving to another country, but I will surely comeback for vacations.

Yes students, remote learning starts Monday, March 23, 2020. This will be a challenge for all of us (teachers, school administrators, families as well as students) but we have no choice right now. By the way, yesterday Friday, March 20, 2020, we were suppose to have our 100 anniversary of the Roaring Twenties. I was looking forward to all your presentations, I know many of you worked really hard. I hope we can reschedule and really have a celebration real soon!

I am happy with one of the high schools I got into and ok with the other one. The ok high school is where everyone got in though so I am stuck with the choice of what high school to choose.

Although I a little sad that I didn’t into my first choice for regular high school, I quickly got over it once I realized that I had gotten into a specialized high school.

I'm happy that I got into the school that I wanted to go. I got my first choice for my regular high school, and eventhough I didn't get by first choice for my specialized high school, I'm still happy that I got into a specialized high school.

I am very happy with the school that I got into. I heard that it is a very good school and I am also very excited to graduate but at the same time I will be very sad because I will not be able to see most of my classmates next year. Either way, congrats everyone!

I was very happy when i got the news of the high school i got into. It was my first choice. Even though i’ve been very excited to get my results, at the same time it is very i won’t be able to go to school with many kids from the middle school anymore. Leave a Reply. |
