I think MLK would focus more on poverty and helping people who dont have a lot of money. I also think he would fight for equal rights for woman and people of color. It says in the text "shifting his attention toward poverty issues and housing rights for African Americans, his life was tragically cut short. On April 4, 1968, he was assassinated in Memphis, Tennessee, at the age of 39."

I think that MLK would focus his efforts on housing rights and economic issues such as inflation, poverty, etc. In the article it states "But just a few years later, as King was shifting his attention toward poverty issues and housing rights for African Americans, his life was tragically cut short." Therefore, this shows that MLK was focusing his efforts on economic issues and housing rights. Thus, if MLK was stil alive, since he was unable to achieve his previous goal, he'd try his best to do so in present day.

If MLK were still alive today, he would likely focus his efforts into trying to change poverty. Even with less discrimination today than 50 years ago, people of color don't have the same educational or economic opportunities as other races. Based on the edited interview of his daughter Bernice, "He was in the middle of trying to address poverty in America. We [still] have serious racism, but poverty is a monster...had he lived, we would see a drastic difference today."

If MLK were to be alive today, I think he would still focus on the discrimination towards African Americans. After all, that is what he was trying to abolish before. This idea could also be supported by what is happening now— many African Americans were killed by U.S policemen. As someone like MLK, he would most likely step in and speak upon the deaths of his people. Furthermore, in the article it is shown that his determination in BLM movement in the early years is undoubtedly one of the most famous and yet influential impact to society.

One of King's main issue is the fact that the African Americans were still treated badly this day due to their skin tone. And while he was trying to stop slavery and make every men equal, he had to go through hardship such as being beaten and frequently being sent death threats. But he never stopped and eventually was able to make the Civil Rights Movement and state his speech in Washington D.C.

The issues that King would focus his efforts on if he were still alive today would be discrimination in the criminal justice system and police brutality. He would focus his efforts on police brutality because black Americans are targeted more by the law enforcement. In addition, the King would say that black Americans don't get enough justice for the discrimination they get. According to "MLK 50 years later", "blacks are 2.5 times as likely as whites to be shot and killed by law enforcement officers." This shows that African Americans are more vulnerable to shootings by law enforcement, and face more injustice.

I think that King would focus his efforts on poverty if he were alive today. I think this is because it is a major issue that has to do with inequality which he spoke out against. In addition, towards the end of his life, he was fighting for housing rights for African Americans. Also, in spring of 1968, he was preparing to stage a huge rally in Washington DC to raise awareness about people living in poverty, so this is clearly something he is passionate about. In conclusion, he would also support the groups of people protesting for change including NFL players who kneel for the national anthem and nurses going on strike to fight for more pay.

I think if Martin Luther King Jr. were to be alive today, he would focus his efforts on what he had been doing and was planning to have done, to fight for the nation to stand up to its words, "that all men are created equal," and to fight for housing rights to those who were seen as "different." This is what I believe King would have done because as stated in the text, "Even as King’s legacy has influenced a new generation of activists, his long-ago dream of equality has yet to be fully realized." This shows that although Martin Luther King Jr. had a legacy of accomplishments and success, his goals of equality still has not been met, most likely meaning if he were still alive, he would continue what he had started, to fight for equality. In addition the text also stated, "But just a few years later, as King was shifting his attention toward poverty issues and housing rights for African- Americans, his life was tragically cut short. On April 4, 1968, he was assassinated in Memphis, Tennessee, at the age of 39." This piece of the text shows that before King's death, he had shifted his attention towards poverty and housing rights, likely meaning if he hadn't been assassinated at that time, he would have started a new movement related to fighting for housing rights to all.

Before he died, MLK worked hard to combat discrimination and segregation within the United States, which is most likely something he would still work towards if he were still alive. In the article, it states, "But just a few years later, as King was shifting his attention toward poverty issues and housing rights for African Americans, his life was tragically cut short." I think that MLK would prioritize housing rights and economic problems like inflation, poverty, etc. But only a few years later, while King was turning his focus to concerns of poverty and housing rights for African Americans, his life was brutally cut short, according to the story. This demonstrates that MLK concentrated his work on housing rights and economic issues. Thus, if MLK were still alive, he would make every effort to accomplish his current aim in light of the fact that he was unable to do it in the past.

If MLK was alive today I think he would focus on neighborhoods hat are poor. In addition, towards the end of his life, he was fighting for housing rights for African Americans. Also, in spring of 1968, he was preparing to stage a huge rally in Washington DC to raise awareness about people living in poverty, thus showing how he cares about people living in poverty.

I think if MLK were alive today, he might have have focused on trying to change poverty, because the text says "in a few years, when king turned his attention to African American poverty and housing rights."

If MLK was still alive today, I think he would support both inequality and poverty because we still have both of these major topics surrounding our world. These are things that determine our status and who we are to others. For example, in the text it says "Many people believe that if King were

If MLK was still alive I think he would focus more on poverty instead of racism now as said in the article “we still have racism, but poverty is a monster

If MLK was still alive today, he would focus on changing discrimination against black people. That’s because he wants everyone to be equal.

I think if MLK was still alive today, he would focus on helping people in need. People who live in poverty, people who face racism, sexism, or discrimination against who they are.

If MLK was alive today, I think he will continue to fight for equal rights. In addition, he might also fight for poverty and housing among African Americans. In the text, it states” Many people believe that, if King were alive today, he would support the groups protesting for change…”

I believe MLK would concentrate his efforts on housing rights and economic issues such as inflation, poverty, and more. According to the article, "But just a few years later, as King was shifting his attention toward poverty issues and housing rights for African Americans, his life was tragically cut short.". This demonstrates that MLK was concentrating his efforts on economic issues and housing rights towards the end of his life. So, if MLK were still alive, I believe he would still be trying to achieve his previous goal.

I think MLK would focus on racial discrimination because in the text it says"Many people believe that if King were alive today, he would support the groups protesting for change in 2018…which seeks to end discrimination in the criminal justice system.”he would also focus on inequality to make everything fair for everyone ( every race). I think he would also focus on poverty.

I think MLK would likely focus on poverty and opportunities for people of color and woman. He would also probably help the youth of today to be more tolerant. For example on the article it says"Statistics show, that many blacks lack the same

I think mlk would focus on racism because in this time period, racism is a big thing and he would fight for equality because he wants all colored people to be equal

If MLK was still alive today, his focus of effort would be on poverty. As stated in a interview with MLK's daughter, they questioned her what her father be doing if he was alive today and she stated, "He was in the middle of trying to address poverty in America. We [still] have serious racism, but poverty is a monster..." This shows as Bernice Kings had said that her father would most likely to be focusing on addressing poverty.

I would think that if MLK was alive during this time period he would contribute to fight for equality and other issues such as economic issues. For example, according to the text it states that, "But just a few years later, as King was shifting his attention toward poverty issues and housing rights for African Americans, his life was tragically cut short.” This shows that if MLK had more time before he tragically passed away he would’ve turned his attention to the economic issues of our world.

If MLK were to be still alive, then we would to focus on trying to stop people from being racist and to stop people from judging their own race. I thought of this because he gave out his speech mainly to end the problem on segregation between the black and white people.
